Brett grew up in Georgetown, Texas

and has been doing home inspections

since he was a kid, as his grandfather was a home inspector. Brett founded

Property Doctors in 2011 and has done thousands of home inspections since. He has trained countless home inspectors, helping launch their careers and has renovated countless houses in his personal life, on HGTV and on TLC. He has worked as a celebrity carpenter and a home renovation expert on the hit TV show Trading Spaces, New Home Source TV, The Hallmark Channel, People Magazine, Men's Health; just to name a few.

Brett is a licensed home inspector through TREC (20110), a licensed Septic System Installer (TQEC), a certified Home Energy Auditor and a Rain Water Collection System Installer.
